Hi, I'm Micaela

Welcome to Micaela's Way!  I am a Jamaican-born, American-raised, military brat with a love for living life to the fullest.  My upbringing shaped unique experiences that formed my worldview and a penchant for learning something new every day.

 

I created Micaela's Way to build a community and share information with other BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) women.  

 

My friends and family have always told me that they turn to me whenever they need to learn about something new. My sister and I share an inside joke that we always say whenever I can provide her with information "Micaela Be Knowing!"

I want to share the information that I curate with my community.  If you are interested in a lifestyle blog that features shopping, food, fashion, and travel topics, you are in the right place!  BIPOC women share values, sisterhood, and experiences unique to our community. Therefore, sharing information and new ideas within our community is essential.  Allies and open-minded individuals are welcome as well.  I am so grateful that you are here!
